Small Hands Big Dreams provides a flexible, fun and family focused atmosphere with many levels of support. When you join Small Hands Big Dreams, your training will not only be interactive and fun, but it will be individualized for you to be successful in your classroom. We are a family-owned center who still has a long, and growing, list of benefits and an owner who knows and is involved in current early childhood education who you will interact with often.

Working during the summer months (May through August) you will join our team as Summer Camp “counselors”. Be a part of our summer camp calendar that is loaded with extra enrichment; field trips ( for school agers) and classroom activities that we don’t usually do during the school year. We have positions for both full and part time.

Job details

- Supervise and engage with children during camp activities

- Lead and assist in organizing various educational and recreational activities

- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times

- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages creativity and teamwork

- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members

- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or camp setting preferred

- Enthusiasm for working with children and providing them with a memorable summer experience

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
